Unleashing the Power of Magnetron Sputtering

Commonly used for the metal plating of plastics, glass and alloys in the automotive, microelectronics, telecommunications and packaging sectors, Magnetron Sputtering nevertheless remains a largely underexploited technology.

The company is determined to eliminate the constraints hampering this technology. In addition to their core activities, the scientists and design staff at Carewave Shielding Technologies are working on the next generation of sputters with the goal of surpassing the limits on the shape and size of objects to shield.

Currently under development, this platform should soon enable the deposition of thin films on the surface of large-size objects, thereby producing a new generation of coatings designed to absorb or screen unwanted electromagnetic waves.
